Terms of Use

1. The service

• Private family, school, class, community and group spaces.
• Stories, photos, videos, voice recordings, documents, recipes, family details, timelines, places, tags and memories.
• Famy AI features, WhatsApp memory capture when connected, selected Google Photos import when available, free or paid plans, access codes and custom payment links.

2. Accounts, permissions and minors

Some services require an account, invitation link or access code. Users must provide accurate information and protect their access details.

FamLife is intended for adults, or minors using the service with parent, guardian, school or other appropriate authorization. School use requires approval by an authorized school representative and, where required, parent or guardian approval. FamLife is approved in Israel’s GEFEN system, but that approval does not replace the required school or parental processes.

3. User content

Users keep ownership of the content they upload. By uploading content, users give FamLife a limited license to host, store, display, organize, process, share with authorized users, operate Famy, create requested outputs, improve the experience and provide support.

Users are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to upload content. FamLife may remove content or restrict use if content may violate law, privacy, safety, rights, dignity or school/community rules.

4. Famy and AI

Famy is FamLife’s smart assistant. It may help create guiding questions, summaries, titles, stories, quizzes, games and memory-based outputs. Famy operates through Google Gemini models, including Gemini Flash, according to the system configuration from time to time.

AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete or emotionally mismatched. Users should review AI content before saving, printing, publishing or sharing. FamLife is not a medical, therapeutic, psychological, legal, certified genealogical or certified archival service.

5. Payments, refunds, availability and deletion

FamLife may offer free plans, paid plans, school/community plans, pilots, access codes, custom links and digital or printed outputs. Payments are processed through Tranzila or another provider shown at checkout. Full credit-card details are not stored directly on FamLife servers.

Cancellation and refund requests are handled according to applicable law, the plan terms and the terms shown at purchase. Custom printed or digital products may not be cancellable after processing, design, production or printing begins, subject to applicable law.

FamLife makes reasonable efforts to keep the service available and secure, but no digital service can guarantee full availability or preservation of information in every situation. Users should keep independent copies of important materials.

Users may request deletion or export. Some information may remain for a limited period or as required for billing, invoices, consent records, security logs, technical backups, disputes or school/community agreements.

6. FamLife intellectual property, liability and changes

The FamLife name, design, interface, logo, service structure, texts, code, features, Famy and FamLife-created content are protected. Do not copy, sell, reverse engineer or use FamLife components without written approval.

The service is provided as-is and as available. FamLife is not responsible for indirect damages, loss of profits, loss of information, AI errors, unauthorized use by other users or reliance on content, except where the law states otherwise.

FamLife may update these terms. Israeli law applies, subject to mandatory consumer rights that may apply in other countries.
