1. What FamLife does and what is collected

FamLife is a private platform for family, school and community memories. Users may save stories, photos, videos, voice recordings, documents, recipes, family details, timelines, roots projects, memorial content and memory-based outputs.

• Account and contact details.
• Family, school, group, community and permission details.
• User-uploaded stories, photos, videos, voice, documents and messages.
• Famy prompts, answers, transcripts, summaries, titles, drafts, quizzes and games.
• WhatsApp data when connected.
• Selected Google Photos media when imported by the user.
• Payment metadata, invoices, receipts and transaction identifiers; full card details are processed by Tranzila or the provider shown at payment.
• Technical, usage, support, security, cookie and email-delivery data when enabled.

2. Uses of information

• Operate private spaces and memory features.
• Manage users, families, schools, communities and permissions.
• Operate Famy and AI features.
• Import selected Google Photos media and receive WhatsApp memories when connected.
• Send service, support, security, onboarding, product and newsletter messages where allowed.
• Manage payments, subscriptions, invoices and receipts.
• Improve the service, fix issues, protect security, prevent abuse and comply with law or agreements.

3. Famy, providers and transfers

Famy uses Google Gemini models, including Gemini Flash, according to the system configuration. Content given to Famy may be processed to create questions, summaries, titles, story drafts, quizzes, games and other outputs. AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete and should be reviewed.

• Base44 / Wix – website and app infrastructure, hosting, database, login, permissions and security.
• Google / Gemini – Famy and AI features, including Gemini Flash according to the system configuration.
• Google Photos / Google APIs – import of photos and videos selected by the user, when available.
• WhatsApp / Meta / WhatsApp connection provider – messages, photos, videos, voice and documents when the WhatsApp service is connected.
• Tranzila – payments, recurring billing, invoices and transaction management.
• Resend – operational emails, onboarding, updates and newsletters.
• Analytics, security or support tools – when enabled, for product improvement, abuse prevention and support.

4. Children, schools, security and retention

FamLife may be used by schools for educational projects. FamLife is approved in Israel’s GEFEN system, but school activity requires approval by an authorized school representative and, where appropriate, parent or guardian approval. Student data is not sold or used for advertising.

Data may be stored or processed in Israel, Europe, the United States, Ireland, the United Kingdom and other countries depending on infrastructure and providers. FamLife uses reasonable security measures such as encryption in transit, access controls, role permissions, secure infrastructure, monitoring and backups. No digital service is completely risk-free.

Information is kept while needed for the service, account, memories, support, security, billing, legal requirements or agreements. Users may request access, correction, deletion, export, restriction, objection, marketing unsubscribe or a privacy explanation.
